3-Yard Bin

Recycling

A 3-yard dumpster is the best choice for projects including construction, commercial, and residential jobs. A temporary bin is the ideal option for small home remodeling jobs and garage cleanups, not heavy construction debris, such as brick, concrete, and sand.

Special Services

Roll-out Service & Backyard Services

NASA Services offers curbside Roll-out and Backyard Services to customers for an additional charge upon request. Roll-out services include collection of refuse, green waste, and recycling carts from a location other than curbside. The service requires that the driver dismounts the collection vehicle in order to obtain the carts from their storage location, empty them and properly return them to their storage location.

To utilize this service, the customer must grant NASA the right of access onto the premises in order to carry out the services. Carts must not exceed 60 pounds.

Manure Collection

NASA Services is a firm believer in recycling as much as possible; therefore we offer special collection and recycling of horse manure and bedding.

Working with a local facility, all materials are composted rather than disposed in a landfill. Research has shown that composting this material provides the following benefits:

  • 100% of animal waste is recycled

  • Reduces flies and their larvae

  • Kills parasites and pathogens

  • Reduces odors

  • Kills weed seeds

  • Evens out grazing patterns

  • Protects water quality

Contact NASA for more information on bin sizes and prices for manure collection.

Special Wastes

Household Hazardous Waste (HHW)

There are many items that may not be placed in your regular curbside trash, recycle or green waste carts. These items are Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) which include items such as:

  • Antifreeze

  • Batteries

  • Drain cleaners

  • Electronic wastes (e.g., TVs, computer monitors, cell phones)

  • Glue and adhesives

  • Household cleaners

  • Oven cleaners

  • Paints

  • Pesticides

  • Pool cleaners

  • Solvents

  • Used oil

  • Waste containing asbestos

Proper Paint Disposal

Proper disposal and recycling of paint is the LAW in California. Paint may not be disposed in the trash or down the drain. Unused paint may NOT be ‘dried-out’ in an open container due to strict air quality regulations.

Drop-off sites are located throughout California for the collection and reuse/recycling of paint and primers, stains, sealers, and clear coatings in 5-gallons or less.

Motor Oil

It is illegal to improperly dispose of used motor oil. It may only be disposed of at a certified collection point. You can receive $.40/gal that you recycle.
