Best for: Construction, commercial, and residential jobs, small home remodeling jobs, and garage cleanups. (No brick, concrete, or sand).

10 Yard Dumpster

A 10 yard bin, also called “lowboy,”  is used for only clean inert material, such as dirt, concrete, asphalt, sand, brick and rock with a maximum weight limit of 10 tons. This excludes contaminates such as grass, leaves, roots, dry wall, trash, wood, rebar, and metal.

We recommend leaving 4 to 6 inches of room in the 10 yard bin to keep the weight of the dumpster under 10 tons. Please note that damp or wet soil is typically heavier than concrete, so it is of paramount importance to maintain 4 to 6 inches of space in the lowboy.

If any non-inert materials are found in the lowboy, customers will be charged for a 40 yard dumpster rate, with a maximum of a 5 ton weight limit.

40 Yard Dumpster

A 40 yard dumpster is the largest size dumpster provided by NASA Services. It best suits large scale jobs, such as cleaning construction and demolition debris, home remodels, and major cleanouts.

3 Yard Bin

A 3 yard dumpster is the best choice for projects including construction, commercial, and residential jobs. A temporary bin is the ideal option for small home remodeling jobs and garage cleanups, not heavy construction debris, such as brick, concrete, and sand.

Dumpster permits are required if you are placing your dumpster on a street, sidewalk, or public property. A permit is not needed if you are placing a dumpster on your business property or a privately owned space. Permits can be acquired from the city hall.

Depending on the size of the dumpster, you can rent a 3-yard dumpster for 10 days, 10- and 40-yard bins for 7 days, however, this can be extended by calling our customer service team at 888-888-0388.

Find a flat area that has at least 3 feet of clearance around each side of the dumpster, at least 20 feet of unobstructed height, and 34 feet of unobstructed room in front for a service pickup. If a paved driveway is being used, consider covering the driveway or putting wood underneath your dumpster to reduce the risk of damage.
