Dimensions: 16’L x 8’W x 2’H
Best for: Inert material such as dirt, rock, sand, concrete, or stucco. (No grass or roots.)
Dimensions: 20’L x 8’W x 6’H
Best for: Construction debris such as drywall, metal, wood, roofing, garage clean up, bulky household, and tree trimmings.
Best for: Construction, commercial, and residential jobs, small home remodeling jobs, and garage cleanups. (No brick, concrete, or sand).
A 10 yard bin, also called “lowboy,” is used for only clean inert material, such as dirt, concrete, asphalt, sand, brick and rock with a maximum weight limit of 10 tons. This excludes contaminates such as grass, leaves, roots, dry wall, trash, wood, rebar, and metal.
We recommend leaving 4 to 6 inches of room in the 10 yard bin to keep the weight of the dumpster under 10 tons. Please note that damp or wet soil is typically heavier than concrete, so it is of paramount importance to maintain 4 to 6 inches of space in the lowboy.
If any non-inert materials are found in the lowboy, customers will be charged for a 40 yard dumpster rate, with a maximum of a 5 ton weight limit.
A 40 yard dumpster is the largest size dumpster provided by NASA Services. It best suits large scale jobs, such as cleaning construction and demolition debris, home remodels, and major cleanouts.
A 3 yard dumpster is the best choice for projects including construction, commercial, and residential jobs. A temporary bin is the ideal option for small home remodeling jobs and garage cleanups, not heavy construction debris, such as brick, concrete, and sand.
Our Temporary Services are ideal for a variety of short-term projects. Whether it’s clearing your garage for better space usage or a more complex project such as constructing a new home, we perform the task at hand with absolute professionalism and to your exact specifications.
Temporary Services impose no limitations as to the number of containers or type of container, waste volume, or specific assortment of waste intended for disposal.
Hazardous waste is prohibited in a roll-off dumpster. The customer shall not place in the equipment, or otherwise include in any waste to be collected and hauled by the contractor, and contractor shall not be required to accept and may return to the customer at the customer’s expense, waste which may be radioactive, reactive, toxic, ignitable, corrosive, pathological, acidic, or otherwise listed as hazardous under federal, state, or other applicable laws, rules and regulations. This also includes paint, motor oil and tires.
Dumpster permits are required if you are placing your dumpster on a street, sidewalk, or public property. A permit is not needed if you are placing a dumpster on your business property or a privately owned space. Permits can be acquired from the city hall.
Depending on the size of the dumpster, you can rent a 3-yard dumpster for 10 days, 10- and 40-yard bins for 7 days, however, this can be extended by calling our customer service team at 888-888-0388.
Find a flat area that has at least 3 feet of clearance around each side of the dumpster, at least 20 feet of unobstructed height, and 34 feet of unobstructed room in front for a service pickup. If a paved driveway is being used, consider covering the driveway or putting wood underneath your dumpster to reduce the risk of damage.
