NASA Services is proud to sponsor a free shredding event, partnered with the La Cañada Flintridge Chamber of Commerce and Community Association! This wonderful community shredding event helped our community easily and securely destroy their personal documents. Shredding events are important because they prevent identity theft by ensuring that personal and confidential information cannot be easily accessed by identity thieves, reduce the amount of paper waste in landfills and conserving resources due to industrial-grade shredders recycling the shredded paper, and helps individuals reduce clutter by disposing of old and unnecessary documents that are no longer needed.
